Diamond Lattice stitch - It is a bit time-consuming to created a diamond pattern, but is interesting to knit. Great for sweaters.

Knitted in a multiple of 8 sts and a 16-row repeat.
All wrong side rows: Knit the knit stitches and purl the purl stitches.
Row 1 - righ side: P3, * RT, p6; rep from * to last 5 sts, RT, p3.
Row 2: K3, * p2, k6; rep from * to last 5 sts, p2, k3.
Row 3: P2, * BC, FC, p4; rep from * to last 6 sts, BC, FC, p2.
Row 4: K2, * p1, k2, p1, k4; rep from * to last 6 sts, p1, k2, p1, k2.
Row 5: P1, * BC, p2, FC, p2; rep from * to last 7 sts, BC, p2, FC, p1.
Row 6: K1, * p1, k4, p1, k2; rep from * to last 7 sts, p1, k4, p1, k1..
Row 7: * BC, p4, FC; rep from * to end.
Row 8: P1, * k6, p2; rep from * to last 7 sts, p6, k1.
Row 9: K1, * p6, LT; rep from * to last 7 sts, p6, k1.
Row 10: P1, * k6, p2; rep from * to last 7 sts, p6, k1.

Knitting abbreviations:
K: Knit | P: Purl.
BC: Back Cross - Skip the first stitch, knit the second stitch, leave on needle, then purl the skipped stitch. Slip both stitches from the needle together
FC: Front Cross - Skip the first stitch, purl through the backloop the second stitch, then knit the skipped stitch. Slip both stitches from the needle together
RT: Right Twist - Skip the first stitch, knit the second stitch, then knit the skipped stitch. Slip both stitches from the needle together
 LT: Left Twist - Skip the first stitch. knit through the backloop the second stitch, then knit the skipped stitch. Slip both stitches from the needle together

Use double pointed needle:
BC -  Slip 1 stitch to dpn and hold in back; k1, then p1 from dpn.
FC -  Slip 1 stitch to dpn and hold in front; p1, then k1 from dpn.
RT - Slip 1 stitch to dpn and hold in back, k1, then k1 from dpn.
LT - Slip 1 stitch to dpn and hold in front; k1, then k1 from dpn.
