Crazy Maypole knitting stitch. It takes a lot of time to knit. Still, the result is unique and beautiful.

How to create the knot stitch

  1. In one stitch, work the following sequence: K1, P1, K1, P1, K1, P1, K1. You will have a total of 7 stitches on the right needle.
  2. Using the point of the left needle, pass the 2nd stitch over the last stitch.
  3. Continue passing the next stitches (3rd through 7th) over the last stitch, one at a time.
  4. When all stitches have been passed over, only 1 stitch remains on the right needle, forming the knot.

Cast on a multiple of 18 stitches.
